Job Description The role of Logistics Manager with us entails overall responsibility for the logistics flow – from planning to delivery – with a focus on delivery precision, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You work both strategically and operatively – close to the operations, business, and our partners. You become part of the factory's management team and report directly to the Plant Manager. You also have a Planning Manager reporting to the Logistics Manager who oversees approximately 17 people. The entire logistics department has approximately 130 people including consultants. The operation is a high-volume factory that delivers over 550,000 items per week to several major customers. We are looking for a leader who wants to be part of our development and transformation journey. The position is 100% and is based at our factory in Färgelanda. Logistics management: Oversee inventory management, capacity planning, and development of efficient material and information flows. Supplier collaboration: Ensure efficient partnerships with suppliers and internal functions to optimize flows and availability. Improvement initiatives: Drive and implement improvement initiatives according to our principles. Health and safety: Drive and prioritize occupational health and safety issues as a natural part of daily operations. Qualifications Experience: Substantial and extensive experience in logistics and documented successful leadership. Industry background: Experience from the automotive industry and understanding of its complex processes is highly desirable. Alternatively, you have a background from a major logistics operator and have worked with logistics flows related to production. Systems and IT: Good proficiency with SAP and very strong Excel skills. Languages: As we operate in an international market, very good knowledge of both Swedish and English, spoken and written, is required. Geographic focus: We would prefer if you reside in areas such as Trollhättan, Uddevalla, or Stenungsund and surrounding areas as this works best for commuting.
