Job Description The role of Logistics Manager with us entails full responsibility for the logistics flow – from planning to delivery – with a focus on delivery precision, quality, and cost-efficiency. You work both strategically and operationally – close to the operations, business, and our partners. You become part of the factory's management team and report directly to the Plant Manager. You also have a Planning Manager reporting to the Logistics Manager who is responsible for approximately 17 people. The entire logistics operation employs approximately 130 people including consultants. The facility is a high-volume factory that delivers over 550,000 items per week to multiple major customers. We are looking for a leader who wants to be part of our development and transformation journey. The role is full-time and is based at our factory in Färgelanda. Responsibilities: Results and Delivery Responsibility: Ensure high delivery precision, customer satisfaction, and monitoring of relevant KPIs linked to logistics and flow. Logistics Management: Oversee inventory management, capacity planning, and development of efficient material and information flows. Supplier Collaboration: Ensure effective partnerships with suppliers and internal functions to optimize flows and availability. Improvement Work: Drive and implement improvement initiatives according to our principles. Health and Safety: Drive and prioritize occupational health and safety issues as a natural part of daily operations. Competencies: Clear and Communicative Leader: You are a confident manager who sets clear boundaries and job descriptions, while coaching your team to think innovatively and make their own decisions. Pragmatic and Action-Oriented: You are absolutely "hands-on" when needed, listen to the organization, but also have the courage to stand by decisions made. Analytical and Data-Driven: You make decisions based on facts and data. You have a talent for conducting analyses that solve immediate problems, while also securing the flow for the future. Results-Oriented: You work systematically toward set goals and monitor operations through key metrics. Qualifications: Experience: Extensive and broad experience in logistics and documented successful leadership. Industry Background: Experience from the automotive industry and understanding of its complex processes is highly desirable. Alternatively, you have a background from a major logistics company. Systems and IT: Good experience with SAP and very strong Excel skills. Languages: Since we operate in an international market, very good knowledge of both Swedish and English in speech and writing is required. Geographic Focus: We prefer candidates living in areas such as Trollhättan, Uddevalla, or Stenungsund and surroundings as it is best suited for commuting.
