F 16 is responsible for Uppsala garrison and the operations of Uppsala airfield. The squadron is also responsible for the surveillance of Swedish airspace around the clock, year-round, and leads the Swedish Air Force's combat aircraft in the air. You will be part of a military organization undergoing major change and development due to the global situation and Sweden's NATO membership. About the unit 163rd Garrison Battalion consists of the Logistics Company, Garrison Company, and Training Company which together create the conditions for assigned units to focus on solving their main tasks. The battalion's role and tasks are developing rapidly to meet the new tasks and challenges facing Sweden and the Swedish Armed Forces. Main duties As a Logistics Assistant, you will be part of the company staff and participate in the preparation, execution, and follow-up of training and exercises. You work in close collaboration with the company quartermaster and the company's technical chief and are part of the team that supplies provisions, manages transport routes, and supports the company within technical service. Within defined areas, you lead platoon work teams regarding, for example, recovery, maintenance, and supply of provisions. In daily routine service, you conduct ordering, receipt, and delivery of materials and provisions, follow-up and support regarding infrastructure issues, and simple facility management duties. You represent the staff and support supervisors on matters relating to work environment and operational safety. At the Training Company, we need to be prepared to support each other. This may mean that you receive internal training to broaden your capabilities, but also that you train others. This typically occurs within a field adjacent to your regular duties. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications Completed military service or basic military training with good grades Driver's license category B Passed FM FysS Personal qualities You are responsible and thorough in accomplishing tasks. You work well independently and can structure your own work time. You have good cooperation skills and work well in small work teams. You can see broader developments and can independently adapt your work tasks based on a larger objective. You are not averse to actively sharing ideas and challenging work methods within your defined work area.
