About the Company MTAB LIVE is a logistics company specializing in transportation for the live events industry. The company offers transport, warehousing, and freight forwarding for tours, concerts, events, trade shows, and culture and TV productions in Sweden and Europe. Assignments include scenery, sound, lighting, decor, costumes, and other production equipment. The business operates in an industry where every delivery is critical to a production's success. This places high demands on planning, flexibility, and the ability to quickly find solutions when circumstances change. MTAB LIVE was founded by people with their own experience in production, which has shaped the company's approach and culture. There is genuine understanding here for the high pace, quick decisions, and situations that can arise when a production is in full swing. About the Role MTAB LIVE is in an expansive phase and is now investing in strengthening its presence in the Gothenburg region. As the company's first dedicated employee in the region, you'll have an important role in developing operations and creating long-term relationships with customers and partners. The role is broad and suits you if you thrive with personal responsibility and switching between different types of tasks. You work with both logistics and coordination while staying close to customers in the field. One day you might plan a transport or work with warehousing, and the next day be on-site at a loading for an event. As MTAB LIVE's local representative, you'll be an important contact person for customers, suppliers, and partners in the region. You build relationships, understand customer needs, and help find the right solutions within logistics and transport. Responsibilities As Logistics Manager, you're responsible for daily operations in Gothenburg and ensure that assignments run smoothly, from planning to execution. You ensure that transports are completed as planned, that the right resources are in place, and that customers receive the service they expect. Examples of responsibilities: • Build and develop relationships with customers and partners • Identify new business opportunities and follow up on local customer contacts • Manage local operations and daily activities • Ensure the warehouse is organized, accessible, and well-maintained • Handle goods reception, deliveries, and practical warehouse tasks • Plan and book transports and coordinate resources with colleagues and external partners • Perform local transports with light trucks or vans • Be present at loading/unloading and events and productions Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities Requirements: • Previous work experience from an operational, practical, or customer-facing role • Experience in planning, prioritizing, and driving your own work forward • Good administrative and digital skills • B-class driver's license • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing • Ability to be flexible with working hours when needed Meritorious: • Experience from logistics, warehouse, transport, or freight forwarding operations • Experience from events, trade shows, or production operations • Experience with transport planning or work in warehouse, transport, or planning systems • Forklift certification or C-class driver's license • A network of contacts within the events, technical, or production industry in Gothenburg To thrive in this role, we see you as someone who takes initiative and creates structure in your own work.
