Welcome to Östergötland's Museum - a vibrant gathering place where we create knowledge experiences that surprise and delight.
Löfstad Castle is part of Östergötland's Museum and is a national and international destination located in the countryside outside Norrköping. The castle, dating back to the 1600s, has been preserved exactly as it was left by its last private owner, Miss Emilie Piper (1857–1926). The castle is open to visitors for most of the year. The property is owned by Riddarhuset and museum operations are run by Östergötland's Museum. The grounds also include an inn and market garden.
Our peak season is summer, when we are open daily from mid-June through the end of August. During spring and fall, the castle is open on weekends and public holidays. In addition to guided tours, we arrange numerous large and small programs throughout the year. Our Christmas market and Midsummer celebration are popular annual events.
We are now seeking several guides to complement our team for the fall!
