Here, children and their families meet, talk, and play with characters from Astrid Lindgren's books. During high season, our visitors experience stories from well-known books performed in over 25 shows every day. With half a million visitors annually, we are Sweden's largest outdoor theater and a fairy tale world that creates lifelong memories. As a sound technician at Astrid Lindgren's World, you will manage the sound for all performances in the park. We have eight different stages where performances run throughout the day. You will operate sound according to sound cues and work together with stage technicians to set up before and after performances. You are part of the Stage and Sound Unit team. Astrid Lindgren's World is open between May–August, every day of the week and in all weather conditions. Therefore, we are looking for someone who easily sees solutions rather than problems, takes responsibility for their tasks, and thrives in an environment where conditions can change quickly. We are seeking someone with education/experience working with live sound and theater. In addition, you need strong knowledge and experience working with digital mixing consoles and wireless microphones. The work is sometimes physically demanding, so it's important that you enjoy an active job. We work closely together here and help each other, both internally and across departments. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is social and enjoys collaborating. Your personality and ability to fit into the team will be an important part of our overall assessment. The longest period runs from the end of March, and all periods end on August 15, 2027. We are also open weekends weeks 33–37 and three weeks at the end of October.
