We are looking for a sound technician for the Service Unit. The unit, which organizationally belongs to the Support and Development department, works across the administration and consists of 15 employees distributed among technicians, service technicians, coordinators and a unit manager. JOB DUTIES As a sound technician, you will primarily work with sound technology at conferences, concerts and other events at Kulturens hus and your tasks vary from day to day. You will work mainly in a team with other technicians but also together with other colleagues, organizers, artists and other external actors. We expect you to be positive about skills development and that you contribute to our work with continuous improvements. Scheduled daytime, evening and weekend duty is included in the position. This is a fixed-term full-time position where you will be substituting for one of our colleagues who will be on leave to try other challenges. The substitute position will be for four months, with possible extension. QUALIFICATIONS To succeed and thrive in this role, you must be structured and self-driven; you take personal responsibility for your tasks, organize your work well, complete what you start and meet deadlines. You are a person who tries to solve problems that arise rather than waiting for someone else to do it. Since the work takes place together with both colleagues and other parties, it is important that you have good collaboration skills and a willingness to provide good service and treatment to those we work with. We are looking for someone who has: • post-secondary education relevant to the position in sound technology or work experience relevant to the position • experience working as a sound technician at larger events • experience working with computers • good ability to communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing It is advantageous if you have: • education in or experience working with lighting technology • license/experience working with forklifts Please answer the selection questions and attach your CV when you submit your application.
