Sigtuna Municipality is a place of great diversity. Here you'll find vibrant countryside, small-town charm, and an international airport. A rich cultural heritage and cultural diversity. A proud history and ambitious future plans. Perhaps that's why the drive to grow, change, and develop is so strong. It's also why working here is so exciting. With us, you'll be part of an unpretentious and innovative culture where we help each other and leverage each other's knowledge, differences, and experiences. The work is often varied, sometimes challenging, but always meaningful. Welcome! The Culture and Recreation Department works to promote cultural and recreational activities in the municipality. We are a politically governed service organization where residents are our clients. Together, we find new ideas and solutions that contribute to residents' quality of life, sustainability, health, integration, and reduced social exclusion. The department consists of five operational areas: the library unit, recreation activities, culture and youth activities, the cultural school, and library operations. Right now, something big is happening in Valsta in Sigtuna Municipality. In the middle of the town square, a brand new cultural center—Mimer—is rising. The building is designed so that both residents and activities can meet and develop in new ways. Behind the large windows, dynamic content is emerging. Here, a library, media studio, creative workshop, stage, café, meeting rooms, and community services come together under one roof. Together, these activities will form a living cultural center that contributes to a safe and sustainable Valsta. Valsta is a fantastic area where people with different linguistic, cultural, and personal backgrounds meet. As the center's sound and light technician, it's an advantage if you speak multiple languages and have experience with different cultures. You'll be an important person for our visitors and staff, and take pride in together creating this welcoming environment where people can gather, develop, and feel included. 1 position(s).
