We are looking for a Stage Technician for Stage & Entrance who dares to take initiative when meeting guests and who sees themselves as an important part of the guest experience – whether you're in the sound booth or moving around the park. About the Role As a Stage Technician/Guest Host, you contribute to enhancing the experience of both our animal-related shows and presentations as well as other performances and activities during our themed seasons. You are responsible for delivering high-quality sound, lighting, and technical effects, conducting soundchecks, and working with daily problem-solving in various sound and lighting systems. The role also includes audio mixing during performances and supporting the park's development toward more automated technology in sound, lighting, and other systems. Beyond technical tasks, you also work as a guest host during our performances, which includes responsibility for guest entry and exit. On certain occasions, the role may also require you to speak into a microphone to guests in both Swedish and English. You must be at least 18 years old. You must have ongoing or completed education in sound, media, or stage technology at least at upper secondary level, or equivalent work experience. You have experience with digital mixing consoles, wireless systems, good knowledge of how a DMX system works, and an understanding of the entire signal and technology chain in a facility. Previous experience with sound and lighting in theater, shows, or similar is a merit. As a person, you are self-driven, creative, social, flexible, and proactive. You have the ability to notice small details that make a big difference and find creative solutions that enhance the overall experience. The pace during our performances can sometimes be high, so you need to be stress-resilient and a confident technical problem-solver. An integral part of the role is working inclusively within the team and in line with Parks and Resorts policies and values. For this position, a practical and theoretical test may be conducted. Useful Information About Positions During Halloween We expect you to be willing and able to work as much as possible during our open days. We do not approve time off during our themed seasons. We do not offer staff accommodation. Open days during Halloween: 3-4/10, 10-11/10, 17-18/10, 24/10-1/11, and 7-8/11, 14-15/11, and 21-22/11.
