We are now seeking a Linux Administrator / Platform Engineer for a technical team where stable operations are combined with continuous development and modernization of the platform.
This role is suited for you if you already have experience with Linux-based operations and want to continue deepening your knowledge within modern infrastructure, automation, and container-based environments in a professional and technically mature organization.
About the position
In the role of Linux Administrator / Platform Engineer, you will work with operations, administration, and further development of the Linux-based infrastructure. You will be an important part of daily platform work and collaborate closely with colleagues in operations, development, and other technical functions to ensure stability, security, and long-term development.
The work combines classic system administration with modern platform technology and automation. You are expected to take independent responsibility within your technical area, while actively contributing to improvement initiatives and optimization of work methods and environments.
As a Linux Administrator / Platform Engineer, you are responsible for, among other things:
Working with operations, administration, and management of Linux servers and associated infrastructure
Participating in operations and monitoring of Kubernetes-based platform environments
Working with automation and optimization of recurring operations and maintenance work
Troubleshooting incidents and contributing to improvements in platform and system environments
Working with monitoring, alarms, and tracking of systems and services
Collaborating with other technical teams and internal stakeholders
Are you the right fit?
To succeed in this role, you have several years of experience working with Linux and server operations in professional environments. You have a good technical understanding and are accustomed to working in a structured way with operations and administration, while being curious about modern technology and new ways of working.
You have an interest in automation and platform technology, and have either worked with – or want to deepen your knowledge within – Kubernetes and container-based environments. Experience with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Git, Bash, or Python is a merit, as are skills in monitoring, cloud services, or Windows environments.
As a person, you are responsible, solution-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and with others. You take ownership of your tasks and contribute positively to the team's collective work.
