For one of our customers in the defense industry, we are seeking a LINUX Technician. You will become a key person in the team responsible for administration and further development of critical technical services. You will ensure the availability of systems and digital services, where security, stability, and precision are always in focus.
The position can be based in Järfälla or Solna.

Your responsibilities
Standardize, optimize, and automate work processes and systems.
Participate in projects related to the technology platform.
Work in operations and support teams with troubleshooting and installations.
Handle patching and upgrading of server environments.
Ensure that security requirements are met.
Actively contribute to improvements in technology and processes.

Your profile
We are looking for you with a passion for technology and strong knowledge of LINUX, preferably with experience from larger operations environments with multiple different operating systems. You are thorough, service-oriented, and enjoy working in teams. You also have the ambition to drive work toward automation and find more efficient ways of working.
As a person, you are communicative, curious, and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating with different types of people, internally and externally, and you readily bring improvement suggestions.
Requirements:
5-8 years of experience in LINUX with focus on server operations.
Good knowledge of scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
Security awareness regarding automated configuration management.
Strong technical interest and desire to keep up with the latest technology.
Fluent Swedish and English, spoken and written.
Driver's license (Travel within Sweden may occur)
Desirable experience:
Red Hat, SUSE Manager, or similar tools.
Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes.
System hardening.
The position requires approval according to applicable security regulations, which may include citizenship requirements.
