As a Line Technician, you work on projects where you build large overhead power lines. Climbing at real heights is part of your daily work. You travel between job sites by car and on-site you transport yourself, colleagues, materials, and equipment using tracked vehicles or six-wheel drive trucks. In this role, you will work on new construction and reconstruction on the regional and transmission network at 130-400kV, which in practice means: Performing work from the ground or at great heights either through climbing or from a bucket Recurring work tasks include pole installation, various types of assembly work on poles, stringing of overhead lines, replacement of poles with accessories Contribute to safe work in the field for yourself and your colleagues Travel is a natural part of the work. You typically work at another location with longer working days Monday-Thursday to have Friday off. We apply home-basing, which means you have a service vehicle at home and operate from your residence. On-call duty may also be included. Job Requirements As a Line Technician with us, you are our most important asset for the work performed in the field. You enjoy being part of a work team and have a positive attitude. But most importantly, like us, you always put safety first!
