As a Line Technician, you work with projects where you build large overhead power lines. Climbing at real heights is part of your daily work. You move between jobs by car, and at the worksite you transport yourself, colleagues, materials, and equipment using tracked vehicles or six-wheelers. In this role, you will work with new construction and reconstruction on regional and transmission networks at 130-400kV, which in practice means: Perform work from the ground or at height either through climbing or from a bucket Recurring work tasks include pole erection, various types of assembly work on poles, pulling overhead lines, and replacing poles and accessories Contribute to safe work in the field for you and your colleagues Travel is a natural part of the work. You typically work at another location with longer working days Monday through Thursday to have Friday off. We apply home basing, which means you have a service vehicle at home and operate from your residence. Standby duty may also be included. Requirements As a Line Technician with us, you are our most important asset for the work performed in the field.
