(Profession code 3341 04 Registrar) Primary Job Responsibilities: manage student documentation – process, record, and maintain student files in accordance with applicable laws of the Republic of Latvia; process, enter, and update student data in the IT database system LAIS; manage program structures (study plans), add study courses to plans, publish semester study plans for the respective academic year, manage study courses, assign course instructors, register students, ensure and monitor grade entry; prepare examination protocols and compile data; prepare diploma supplements; communicate with department, department chair, and class leaders on matters related to the study process; handle other administrative matters related to the department. Requirements for Candidates: higher education; work experience performing registrar duties; ability to think analytically, apply labor law provisions, and prepare documents; ability to make decisions within the scope of authority and assume responsibility; excellent collaboration and communication skills; ability to work in a team and organize work independently; attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines; knowledge specific to the position (experience with the LAIS database will be considered an additional qualification).
