About the Job Are you a driven and analytical person with an eye for detail? As a License Specialist in our team, you have an important role where we collectively manage several central license agreements and licensing within Intraservice and for the City of Gothenburg's departments and companies. The team's mission is to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and compliant management of software licenses. You will be one of our experts in this area and contribute your knowledge to analyze, develop, and optimize license usage and management within our operations. In this role, you will: ensure compliance with license agreements and regulations analyze license usage and identify opportunities for optimization and cost savings manage license allocation and administration in license portals, such as Microsoft 365, Azure, and Adobe take responsibility for purchasing licenses and software collaborate with business units, vendors, and other stakeholders to create a shared understanding of needs and usage participate in procurements, contract renewals, and strategic work regarding license investments As one of the License Specialists in the team, you have a central role in developing and improving the organization's license management. Through close collaboration with colleagues and external parties, you contribute to effective solutions that create value for the business. About You We are looking for someone with previous experience in Software Asset Management and license management. You have at least five years of professional experience within the licensing field, which means you have solid knowledge of license management, licensing models, and Software Asset Management. You have worked with analysis and optimization of client and server licensing, preferably in larger organizations. You also have knowledge of volume agreements from one of the major vendors, such as Microsoft, Adobe, Broadcom, or IBM. We see that you have relevant higher education, preferably in IT, Economics, or Law, or equivalent knowledge and experience that we consider comparable. You have a good understanding of IT infrastructure, server environments, virtualization, databases, and cloud services to be able to analyze technical solutions and understand how the design and usage of IT environments affect licensing, compliance, and costs. You also have knowledge or experience in IT service delivery, as well as very good knowledge of both Swedish and English. It is a merit if you have: certification in CSAM, ITAM, or ITIL experience working with a SAM tool, such as Snow, Flexera, or Xensam As a person, you are communicative, driven, and collaboration-oriented, and you thrive in a dynamic work environment where a holistic perspective is crucial. Your analytical skills allow you to dive deep into data and identify patterns and opportunities for cost efficiencies and process improvements.
