The subject ranges from an individual to a societal perspective and encompasses research aimed at identifying and quantifying the significance of risk factors for ill health, prevention through developing evidence for legislation, knowledge dissemination, and teaching. This lectureship has a focus on physical and chemical risk factors. Your Role You will serve as the course director and examiner for the Work and Health course within the Master's Program in Work and Health, teach in this course and other courses in the program, and conduct pedagogical development work within the program's courses. You will independently conduct and lead research in occupational and environmental medicine, specifically in physical and chemical occupational and environmental medicine, and supervise doctoral candidates and postdoctoral researchers. You will participate in IMM's mission as a national expert body in environmental medicine according to Ordinance (1994:1244) on the Institute for Environmental Medicine, specifically in physical and chemical environmental medicine by, among other things, assisting authorities with scientifically substantiated evidence. Eligibility Requirements Eligible for employment as a lecturer with a focus on education and research is someone who, in addition to holding a doctoral degree or possessing equivalent scientific competence, has demonstrated excellent pedagogical skills and very good scientific skills. Since you will serve as course director and examiner and teach in the Master's Program in Work and Health, which is offered in Swedish, you must, in addition to English, possess knowledge and proficiency in Swedish, Norwegian, or Danish (C1 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, CEFR). Furthermore, you must have completed university pedagogy education covering 10 weeks according to SUHF's recommendations for eligibility-granting university pedagogy education.
