The school is located in central Enköping with a mixed catchment area, covering both parts of the town center and some rural areas. The school opened in 1948 and has been in operation since then, with expansions and renovations over the years. The school is popular with high demand, and most students attend Korsängsskolan for all their 10 years. All activities at the school are guided by "We have an uncompromising focus on the student's best interests, which means one step at a time and always forward." We have a well-developed student health service with a school nurse, school counselor, and school psychologist. 3 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Your main task is to plan, implement, and evaluate teaching in the elementary grades in accordance with Lgr22. You will be part of a deliberate resource initiative where 5 teachers work closely together around 4 classes. The goal of this initiative is to increase the number of adults to create a safe learning environment and enable early interventions. Plan and conduct teaching in the subjects you are certified for, with a focus on early reading, writing, and math development. Use the extra teacher resources flexibly, for example by dividing classes into smaller groups, station-based teaching, or conducting intensive and targeted interventions for individual students. Adapt your teaching so that all students—both those needing support and those needing challenges—have the conditions to reach their goals. Collaborate daily with the other 4 teachers in the team around the 4 classes. Actively participate in joint planning, follow-up, and co-assessment to create continuity and equality in teaching. Cover for each other within the team during short-term absences to minimize vulnerability and maintain continuity for the students. Have mentoring responsibility for part of the student group (responsibility is distributed and shared within the teacher team). Build good relationships with students and actively work with safety, discipline, and values-based issues. Maintain close and trusting dialogue with guardians through development meetings and ongoing communication. QUALIFICATIONS Teacher certification with qualifications for teaching in grades 1-3 (or F-3) of primary school. Very good collaboration skills and flexibility, since the role is based on sharing responsibility and working in a team. You have a humble approach and put student development at the center. Experience working in elementary grades is a merit, but we also welcome newly graduated teachers. You adapt easily to changing circumstances. You see opportunities in changes and can quickly shift your perspective and approach based on what the situation requires. You take initiative, gladly start activities, and achieve results. You are relationship-building, outgoing, and socially active in your work. You create and maintain relationships. You collaborate well with other people and relate to them in a responsive and flexible way. You listen, communicate, and resolve collaboration difficulties or conflicts in a constructive manner.
