Since it is vacation season, processing time will be longer for this recruitment. About the Operation You will work in teams and collaboratively with other physical therapists and occupational therapists as well as nurses, pharmacists, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation assistants. With us, you have the opportunity to grow in your role, whether you are newly graduated and seeking your first job as a licensed professional or have already worked in the profession for a while. Right now we are looking for physical therapists and an occupational therapist for our short-term care facility at Sörmarksgatan 207. The unit accepts patients from across the municipality with needs including rehabilitation following hospitalization, complex care needs, and end-of-life patients. With us, you will have varied and developmental work with wonderful colleagues. Job Responsibilities With the patient's best interests in focus, you work clinically, conducting assessments and implementing physiotherapy/occupational therapy interventions. As a licensed professional, you are responsible for documenting the interventions that are planned, implemented, and evaluated. You also have responsibility for prescribing and fitting assistive devices. As part of your clinical role, you also guide care staff in various care situations, such as patient transfers and use of assistive devices. Creating and maintaining good relationships is an important part of your role, and you work closely with your team and with the administration's social workers, managers, and care staff. Communication with family members and with staff at health centers and hospitals is also a natural part of your workday. We work Monday through Friday. With us, you have flexibility in your day as you, based on operational needs and in dialogue with your colleagues, plan and structure your workday to a large extent yourself. You, like us, value patient well-being and self-determination, and you have good opportunities to follow your patients' rehabilitation outcomes over time in their home environment. When you begin your employment, you will receive an individually tailored introduction that provides you with good prerequisites and a safe and stable start to your new position. We also offer mentor contact after you have completed your introduction because we know that the opportunity to consult with an experienced and knowledgeable physical therapist/occupational therapist for advice and support is appreciated, especially if you are completely new to the professional role. Qualifications You are a licensed physical therapist/occupational therapist with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Experience working as a physical therapist/occupational therapist is a merit, as is experience within municipal home healthcare. Documented training in transfer techniques (manual transfers and mechanical lift transfers) is also a merit, as are instructor training and experience in educating care staff. Your approach is coaching and educational, and you have good interpersonal skills. Our team-based work style also requires that you are engaged, flexible, responsible, and good at collaboration. Your ability to plan, structure, and prioritize your work gives you good conditions to succeed in your role and contributes to creating an efficient operation. You are accustomed to working with IT-based patient record systems and have the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written. A valid driver's license (category B) is required for all positions. Before a job offer, you must provide a criminal background check from the police.
