About the Operation
You will work in a team-based and interprofessional manner alongside other physical therapists and occupational therapists as well as nurses, pharmacists, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation assistants.

Right now we are seeking physical therapists and an occupational therapist for our short-term care unit at Sörmarksgatan 207. The unit receives patients from throughout the municipality with needs including rehabilitation following hospitalization, complex care needs, and patients in their final stages of life. With us, you will get varied and developmental work with wonderful colleagues.
Job Responsibilities
With the patient's best interests in focus, you work clinically, conducting assessments and implementing physical therapy/occupational therapy interventions. As a licensed professional, you are responsible for documenting the interventions that are planned, carried out, and evaluated. You are also responsible for prescribing and fitting assistive devices. The clinical role also includes supervising nursing staff in various care situations, such as during transfers and when handling assistive devices.
Creating and maintaining good relationships is an important part of your role, and you will work closely with your team and with the administration's social workers, managers, and nursing staff.
Dialogue with family members and with staff at health centers and hospitals is also a natural part of your workday.
We work Monday through Friday. Qualifications
You are a licensed physical therapist/occupational therapist with authorization to practice within Swedish health and medical care.
Experience working as a physical therapist/occupational therapist is meritorious, as is experience within municipal home health care.
Documented training in transfer techniques (manual transfers and mechanical lift transfers) is also meritorious, as is instructor training and experience in educating nursing staff.
Your approach is coaching and pedagogical, and you have good interpersonal skills. Our team-based work method also requires that you are dedicated, flexible, responsible, and good at collaboration.
Your ability to plan, structure, and prioritize your work provides you with good conditions to succeed in your role and contributes to creating an efficient operation. You are accustomed to working with IT-based medical record systems and you have the ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. A Class B driver's license is required for all positions. Before an employment offer is made, you must provide a certificate from the police criminal record register.
