Clinical Pathology and Cytology in Växjö examines tissue and cell samples from throughout Kronoberg region. The operation also includes morgue and autopsy services. Approximately 38 employees work here – biomedical analysts, physicians, cytodiagnosticians, laboratory assistants, molecular biologists, and autopsy technicians – together to provide patients with the best possible care.

WORK TASKS
As a physician assistant with us, you will have varied and stimulating work tasks within a broad spectrum of different organ areas. The work consists of standard tasks at a pathology lab including pathology and cytology diagnostics, tissue cutting, autopsies, and participation in medical conferences.
We can offer a fixed-term employment for 6 months, with possible transition to a specialist training (ST) position. You will receive a personal supervisor and have the opportunity to participate in courses and training at the ST level.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a Swedish medical license.
As a person, we see that you are engaged and driven in your work. You want to contribute to our team where we develop together. We are further looking for someone with good communication and analytical skills and a strong sense of responsibility.
You have excellent knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing corresponding to at least level C2.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. It is a merit if you have previous experience working in clinical pathology and cytology.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: 6 months or longer.
Work hours: Daytime.
