Our Offer
Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-operated health centers, Finspång Health Center, Child Health Care Unit, 1177 and on-call centers for evenings and weekends, and General Medicine Training Center. We conduct broad primary care services where we offer care to everyone throughout life; newborns, children, young people, adults, elderly, and patients at the end of life.
Ekholmen Health Center is located in the southern part of Linköping and currently has approximately 22,000 registered patients. We offer you as a new nurse/district nurse a customized introduction tailored to your needs. With a designated mentor, we want to create security for you as someone new to primary care.

Job Description
Your work tasks at the health center are varied and encompass the general medicine field where you meet patients with different backgrounds of all ages. In first-line care, you work in health promotion, counseling, and treatment through telephone advice and nurse consultations.
In both acute and planned activities, you receive patients and collaborate with other professionals. We view continued professional development positively and there are opportunities for development within your own area of responsibility.
Work Team
We are approximately 70 employees at the health center who enjoy working together in an open workplace culture.
The health center has physician consultations, specialist nurse consultations, nurse consultations, nursing assistant consultations, child health care, psychosocial support, dietitian, foot care, and laboratory. We are also responsible for a number of nursing homes and collaborate with home care services.

About You
You are a licensed nurse or district nurse, preferably with experience in primary care.
You master the Swedish language in speech and writing, corresponding to C1 level.
You have good collaboration skills and can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. Furthermore, you have a pleasant manner with patients and colleagues, and communicate in a clear and unpretentious way. You are confident in your professional role and have the ability to make independent decisions based on your profession. We want to develop the care we offer our patients, and to do that requires curious and driven employees; therefore we place great emphasis on personal suitability.
