The Health and Care Unit is now recruiting licensed registered nurses who want to work with us. The unit consists of multiprofessional teams where registered nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nursing assistants work together. We currently have 75 employees. Leadership is shared by two unit managers. Our mission encompasses care in all its forms—from home healthcare, dementia care, rehabilitation and assistive devices to care and support for people in care facilities. We also serve residents with special services, day activities centers, service apartments, and sometimes provide care for people with personal assistance or those receiving help through social psychiatry. We are seeking staff for our evening and weekend shift group. You will work 30 h/week, evenings and every other weekend. We have strong cohesion with good collaboration where we work together—registered nurses, nursing assistants, and rehabilitation staff. No questions are silly or wrong. We work without ego and pull in the same direction. You will have freedom with responsibility and the opportunity to influence your work and internal work methods. The position is placed within the Care and Social Services Department, one of six departments in Mjölby Municipality with a clear mission—we exist for people. DUTIES As a registered nurse, you are responsible for providing safe and secure care in accordance with the municipality's health and care mission. Health and care services must be delivered in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and other health care directives. Care shall be patient-centered and provided in collaboration with other professionals and stakeholders. Nursing care is your specific area of expertise, and you independently take clinical decisions that enable patients to improve, maintain, or regain their health and achieve the best possible wellbeing and quality of life. As a registered nurse, you assess the patient's health condition, plan nursing care based on established goals, perform both nursing interventions and interventions prescribed by other professionals, document according to the nursing process, and review patient records and information from other parties. Home healthcare offers great variety in work tasks. We care for complex patients where no two visits are alike. Since we work in the home, there is natural recovery time between visits. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • University degree in nursing and professional licensure • skills in nursing care combined with knowledge in other areas such as medical science and public health • a valid driver's license (Class B) It is advantageous if you have: • prior experience in the profession You must be able to navigate organizational structures and professional care culture aspects; you are confident and secure in your area of expertise.
