Psychiatric Outpatient Clinic in Vänersborg The psychiatric outpatient clinic in Vänersborg is centrally located, just a few minutes' walk from Vänersborg train and bus station. The clinic is organized into several teams, including a general psychiatry team, psychosis team, neuropsychiatric team, and MBT team, and offers assessment, investigation, and treatment at the specialist psychiatric level. We are about thirty employees in the professional categories of psychologist, physician, nurse, social worker, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, nursing assistant, and secretary. The clinic's target group includes people with severe anxiety and depression disorders, personality disorders, neuropsychiatric conditions, psychotic illness, and comorbidity related to substance dependence/mental illness. We offer several different treatment methods and models such as PDT, CBT, and MBT. The clinic has six psychology positions. Several of the current psychologists have worked at the clinic for many years. The psychologists' expertise in treatment, assessment, and diagnosis is in high demand and they have an important role in the teams. Collaboration is good and we are committed to preserving the opportunities for collegial support that it provides. Access to both external and internal supervision in treatment and investigation work is available. Duties The main duties are psychotherapeutic interventions as well as assessment and investigation (for example, neuropsychiatric investigations and personality assessments). The work is carried out in close collaboration with other team members. Qualifications Licensed psychologist, preferably with experience working in adult psychiatry. MBT competence is advantageous.
