We are a mixed work group with different professional categories. The target group is primarily young people aged 16–22 years who live or stay in Region Västerbotten. Youth clinics work on young people's sexual, physical, mental and psychosocial health. Within the area of mental health, we are a reinforced youth clinic from a national perspective, which means the clinic has been strengthened with expertise to meet young people with mental health problems and offer early and shorter treatment interventions. Fundamentally, it means that we work on the young person's assignment in their entire context in an equitable and health-promoting manner. The Youth Clinic is a low-threshold service and young people seek help without a needs assessment. Youth clinics should also direct special efforts towards young people with risk factors. WORK TASKS Within the field of talk therapy for mental health, all staff regardless of professional background work with the same basic mission. This means that together we work to maintain good accessibility and have a high awareness that our mission includes working to promote and prevent by meeting, assessing and offering treatment interventions. The temporary position involves talk therapy with a focus on individual counseling sessions at the clinic. We also offer digital visits and, in addition to physical clinics, we have a digital Youth Clinic Västerbotten for young people throughout the region. Interdisciplinary cooperation with doctors, midwives and municipal staff at the Youth Clinic is common. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist. You should have experience and a great interest in working with young people, individually and in a team. Your approach is salutogenic, you see possibilities, are solution-focused and utilize the young person's resources. You think it is important to contribute to good cooperation with all professional categories at the workplace and with other actors. You work independently and take responsibility for the whole according to the workplace's mission. Personal qualities such as being responsible, flexible and structured are important since the activities have high demand and are based on everyone contributing to common goals. We are primarily looking for you with experience working with young people/young adults. For example, if you have worked at a youth clinic or primary care's first line.
