Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Close Care together with the Ambulance Service, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Primary care is organized in 4 primary care areas and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under good and close care. Each primary care area is an economic unit led by a department manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's health care advice, youth services and the close care department Näva, which are all grant-financed. Zätagränd Health Center is centrally located in Östersund and is a very well-functioning health center with high job satisfaction and a good work environment. The unit is characterized by good collaboration between all professional categories and a positive attitude toward development work. The health center is staffed with specialist and training physicians, district nurses, nursing assistants and medical secretaries. There is also a rehabilitation coordinator, dietitian, occupational therapist, physiotherapists and a psychosocial unit where both psychologists and social workers work. We have a well-visited family center with midwifery services, child health care, social services and open preschool. We are just over 60 employees and two unit managers who together care for just over 13,400 registered patients. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES In Primary Care, we work according to Right Use of Competence (RAK), which means that our psychologists get to work at the top of their competence. As a psychologist with us, you have an important role in assessing and treating adult patients with mild to moderate mental health problems. You will work with assessment, investigation and treatment, both individually, in groups and via the internet, using evidence-based methods. We place great emphasis on you as a psychologist receiving good introduction to the profession. Together we make use of each other's expertise and create good conditions for patients. Supervision and regular meetings with other psychologists in primary care are included. Region Jämtland Härjedalen has clear career paths for skills development and specialization, and as a psychologist with us, you have the opportunity for paid specialist training. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a licensed psychologist with a CBT focus, preferably with further training in ACT/FACT. Experience working in primary care is meritorious. You have drive and curiosity and want to develop in your role with us. You take responsibility and contribute with professional and warm communication.
