We are now recruiting a licensed psychologist to join us at Skåre Health Center! Could you be our new colleague? Your Workplace Skåre Health Center is conveniently located within cycling distance from Karlstad city center, beautifully situated along the Klarälven river, with good bus connections. The health center has approximately 9,000 registered patients, with a mixed population including families with children, middle-aged and elderly people. The health center is well-functioning with experienced and dedicated staff. Your Responsibilities As a psychologist, you will primarily work with evidence-based psychological treatment, to some extent crisis counseling and supportive conversations. Your responsibilities also include screening for neuropsychiatric issues. You will have in-person appointments at the clinic. We strive for short waiting times for an initial assessment and good accessibility based on each patient's individual needs. We work across professional boundaries to provide patients with the best and safest care possible. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for a licensed psychologist with experience in treatment work. It is a merit if you have previous experience working in primary care. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. We place great importance on personal suitability as we are keen to find the right person for the position and for our team. We are looking for someone who is flexible, solution-focused, and enjoys working in a changing work environment. You work in a structured manner, can prioritize and transition smoothly between independent work and team collaboration. With a good overall perspective, you see both the patient's and the organization's needs, and you actively contribute by supporting and sharing your expertise with colleagues.
