Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Nearby Care together with Ambulance Services, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Primary care is organized into 4 nearby care areas and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services have been integrated under good and nearby care. Each nearby care area is an economic unit led by a director. Primary care is also responsible for the region's medical advice service, youth clinic, and the nearby care department Näva, all of which are grant-financed. Our health center is located approximately 15 km south of Östersund and currently has approximately 9,200 registered patients. We have a geographical catchment area with both urban and rural areas. We have several psychologists with varying levels of experience. We have district nurses and doctors with their own patient areas who, together with nursing assistants and medical secretaries, work at the top of their competence. WORK DUTIES In Primary Care, we work according to correct use of competence, RAK, where psychologists have the opportunity to work at the top of their competence. As a psychologist in Primary Care, you have a very important role in assessing and treating adult patients with mild to moderate mental health problems. You will conduct standard psychological work with a focus on assessment, investigation, and treatment. The work is based on evidence-based methods individually, in groups, and via the internet. The group treatments included in our services are for stress, anxiety, depression, sleep, pain, healthy lifestyle habits, and exhaustion. For the past several years, we have invested in distance-independent technology with internet-CBT, which offers opportunities for variation and flexibility in your work. Brunflo Health Center has well-functioning multimodal teams, with a physiotherapist, rehabilitation coordinator, occupational therapist, and doctor, where the psychologist has a natural place, with significant responsibility for patients who need support in behavior change for optimal well-being. It is important to us that you as a psychologist receive a good introduction to the psychology profession. Together, we utilize each other's expertise and create good conditions for the patient. Supervision is included as well as regular meetings with other psychologists in primary care. QUALIFICATIONS Licensed psychologist with a CBT orientation and preferably with further training in ACT/FACT. We are looking for you with drive, curiosity, and who enjoys development. You have a team spirit, are independent, and have an interest in primary care. Experience working in primary care is a merit.
