Unit Mission The Swedish Public Employment Service in Fyrbodal is a unit with approximately 180 employees and a service area covering 14 municipalities. Together, we work to equip, match, and support job seekers on their path to employment or education, while also supporting employers in their skills recruitment. As a psychologist, you will be part of our specialized support for job seekers and work closely with other professionals, including psychologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and employment officers. Together, you will provide different perspectives to create a comprehensive picture of an individual's resources, capabilities, and needs. Our mission also includes work-oriented rehabilitation through guidance, assessment, rehabilitation, and work preparation services. Job Description As a psychologist with us, you will assess how an individual's strengths and obstacles affect their ability to obtain and maintain employment. Through assessment interviews and psychological testing, you will map work capabilities and skills in relation to the job market. Your assessments will be documented and used as a basis for ongoing work with employment officers. You will work independently, planning and structuring your work days while collaborating closely with other professionals. You may also support employers regarding hiring by assessing needs for adjustments and support. Collaboration also occurs with municipalities, healthcare services, and the Swedish Social Insurance Agency. You will receive structured onboarding where the first eight weeks combine training in the government role with introduction to psychological work and mentoring. You will also have the opportunity to develop your expertise in various psychological testing and assessment methods. Work is based in Trollhättan or Uddevalla, with travel within the service area occurring as needed. Our Offer We are now recruiting two psychologists. These are permanent full-time positions starting with a six-month probationary period. The placement location is Trollhättan or Uddevalla.
