Certified Teacher in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language – Flexible Part-Time

Agila Institutet VUX provides municipal adult education with a focus on vocational training for nursing assistants. We are now looking for a certified teacher in Swedish and/or Swedish as a Second Language who would like to work with us on a limited basis. This position may be suitable for you if you already work part-time and want to supplement your current position, or if you are looking for qualified extra work alongside other employment. About the Position You will teach and mentor our adult students in Swedish and Swedish as a Second Language. Teaching and mentoring take place primarily remotely via Zoom at fixed times. Grading and assessment of submitted assignments and exams can be done from any location and at times that suit you within the scope of the assignment. Presence at the school is normally required one to two half-days per month, including for the administration and assessment of national exams and other activities that must take place on-site. The work includes: teaching and mentoring via Zoom assessment and feedback on students' work grading exams assessment of national exams monitoring students' progress record grades We Are Looking for You If: You hold teacher certification – this is an absolute requirement – and have qualifications in Swedish and/or Swedish as a Second Language. You are confident in your teaching role, work independently, and appreciate working with adult students. Experience with komvux and national exams is an asset. A Flexible Teaching Assignment We offer a teaching assignment where a significant portion of the work can be performed remotely. Fixed teaching and mentoring times are planned in advance, while grading and other individual work provide great flexibility to plan when and where you work. This position is therefore particularly suitable if you want to combine work with us with another part-time position or other employment.
