Nordmarkens School is located in the southern part of Årjängs town center and is the municipality's largest school. It is a grades F-9 school with approximately 700 students and over 100 staff members. The school campus includes three different buildings, two of which are relatively newly built—one for grades 1-6, one for grades 7-9, and one for preschool class, after-school care, and prep class. The middle school is the municipality's only middle school with approximately 330 students in grades 7-9. The school was built in 2015 and every student has access to their own computer. The students at the school represent a cross-section of our community, and approximately 60 staff members work at the school. Teaching should be adapted to students' needs, and staff have high expectations that students will achieve good results. We have a well-functioning support system aimed at quickly identifying students and providing early intervention. The school has special education teachers, special education specialists, counselors, school nurses, study and career counselors, and through student health services, access to school psychologists and school doctors. 1 position(s). DUTIES We are looking for an engaged and knowledgeable Spanish teacher for grades 6-9 who wants to become part of Nordmarkens School. Mentoring is included. As a Spanish teacher with us, you will work in a well-organized team with a strong focus on collaboration and support, both within Spanish and with other subject colleagues. You play an important role in supporting students' development, both linguistically and socially. QUALIFICATIONS • Teacher certification with authorization to teach Spanish for grades 6-9 • Strong knowledge of the Spanish language and Spanish-speaking culture • Experience teaching in primary/secondary school is a merit • Ability to create a safe and inclusive learning environment • Good collaboration skills and experience working in subject and team settings • Interest in developing teaching with the support of digital tools • Commitment to students' knowledge development and well-being • Valid driver's license B is required as some teaching takes place at another school in the municipality Meritorious: Experience with and knowledge of NPF.
