The Rehabilitation Medicine Section is part of the Clinical Area for Neurology, Rehabilitation Medicine and Memory Disorders at Skåne University Hospital (SUS), with operations in Lund and Höör. Within rehabilitation medicine, we offer interdisciplinary and internationally accredited (CARF) rehabilitation for adults with activity limitations resulting from spinal cord injury, acquired brain injury including stroke, multitrauma, circulatory and musculoskeletal diseases/injuries, chronic neurological diseases, and post-polio conditions. The department conducts multidisciplinary research connected to several research groups focusing on spinal cord injury, anoxic brain injury, stroke, and post-polio conditions. Many of our staff members hold doctoral degrees or are active doctoral candidates. We also maintain well-established collaboration with other rehabilitation medicine facilities in the Southern Healthcare Region, and several of our colleagues are engaged in knowledge management at national, regional, and local levels. We offer teaching to students and healthcare personnel across all professional categories. As a physician with us, you work from a person-centered approach, which is a cornerstone of rehabilitation medicine. Together with the patient, family members, and the rehabilitation team, you develop an individualized rehabilitation plan and conduct rehabilitation through interdisciplinary teamwork. There is close collaboration with several departments at Skåne University Hospital (SUS). Neurology and rehabilitation medicine are part of the same clinical area, offering significant potential for participation in and development of neurorehabilitation. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking a licensed assistant physician for a temporary position at the Rehabilitation Medicine Section, with placement in both Lund and Höör (Orupsssjukhuset). Much of the work is done in interdisciplinary teams where you will engage with varied, developmental, and stimulating tasks in a professional environment. We provide clinical services in both outpatient and inpatient care with on-call responsibilities outside regular hours, during which you will receive training with a specialist. QUALIFICATIONS We seek someone who is a licensed physician with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare. Furthermore, Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale are required.
