The Ear, Nose, and Throat Clinic in Region Östergötland is one of the largest in the country. We are responsible for both regional healthcare and highly specialized care within the Southeastern healthcare region. In total, we have approximately 240 employees at the clinic, with operations in both Linköping and Norrköping, and we provide outpatient services, inpatient care, surgical operations, hearing rehabilitation, speech therapy, interpreter services, and administration.

Job Description
As a licensed physician with us, you will receive broad introduction to ENT specialty and work mainly with outpatients at University Hospital in Linköping and Vrinnevi Hospital in Norrköping. The work includes assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with both acute and planned ear, nose, and throat diseases. You work closely with experienced specialists and gradually gain increased independent responsibility based on your competence and experience.
On-call work is included and is based at University Hospital in Linköping. During on-call hours, you handle acute ENT patients and are responsible, with support from backup on-call, for the clinic's inpatients.
Work Team
With us, you become part of a dedicated and interprofessional team where mentorship is a natural part of daily work. The position offers good opportunities to develop your clinical skills in ENT and to gain broad insight into the specialty.
About You
We are looking for someone who is already a licensed physician. If you have previous experience in ENT, we see that as a strong merit.
We see that you have a genuine interest in ear, nose, and throat diseases and want to develop within the specialty in a stimulating and academic environment. You are curious, engaged, and enjoy working in interprofessional teams.
To succeed in this role, you need to be flexible, communicative, and confident in your professional role, and have good ability to express yourself in Swedish in both speech and writing. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and your willingness to contribute to both clinical and academic work.
