Gimo Health Center with branches at Österbybruk and Alunda Our 1,800 employees work with primary care and health in Uppsala County. We offer a wide range of services within primary healthcare. Our patients meet us at Region Uppsala's own health centers or within rehabilitation services, and we provide advice by phone via 1177. Are you a licensed physician planning to start your ST (specialty training) in general medicine soon? For you as a licensed physician, we now offer a fixed-term full-time position with training benefits, with a start date by agreement and possible opportunity for ST employment in the future. Your Assignment In your role as a licensed physician, you will work in close collaboration with all professions at the health center. Your work tasks consist of clinic work with varying responsibilities. You will be offered a varied and exciting clinical practice within rural medicine. Some on-call/standby duties are also included. In addition to the regular tasks as a licensed physician, you will also have the opportunity to begin preparing for your ST training. You will be offered supervision, study time at the workplace, and the opportunity to participate in ST seminars. Your service time can be credited toward any future ST training. Your Competence We are looking for you with Swedish medical license, preferably with experience from work within primary care and with the goal of ST in general medicine. You possess good ability to communicate in Swedish both verbally and in writing, have good knowledge of the Swedish healthcare system, and see good patient interaction as one of your most important tools in patient encounters. Furthermore, you have a desire to develop the operation together with other staff at the health center. You are flexible, curious, and enjoy working in a team-based environment. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. If you have not completed AT (apprenticeship training) in Sweden, you may need to have completed BT (basic service period) for an ST block to be relevant later.
