We are looking for you Who want to explore the specialty of infectious medicine. We are seeking a licensed physician for a temporary position from December 2026 through August 2027 at the latest. You have a genuine interest in infectious diseases. Experience with the Cosmic electronic medical record system is a merit, and we would appreciate if you have a valid driver's license. You will receive customized orientation based on your experience. You will primarily work with inpatients on the infectious diseases ward. The position also includes outpatient clinic work and on-call duty. During call hours, you are responsible, with good support from the backup on-call physician, for the ward's patients and provide medical consultation to other departments. The Department of Infectious Diseases is based in Jönköping and is the region's knowledge center for infectious diseases. The clinic consists of a care unit with 24 beds, a specialist outpatient clinic, and extensive consultation and advisory services conducted in Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. Currently, a pilot program for hospital-at-home care is also underway, where patients are offered the opportunity to receive parts of their antibiotic treatment at home.
