We are looking for you Interested in exploring infectious medicine as a specialty. We are seeking a licensed physician for a temporary position from December 2026 through August 2027 at the latest. You have a genuine interest in infectious diseases. Experience with the Cosmic electronic health record system is a merit, and we appreciate if you have a driver's license. You will receive a customized introduction tailored to your experience level. You will primarily work with inpatients in the Department of Infectious Diseases' care unit. The position also includes outpatient work and on-call duty. During on-call hours, you are responsible, with good support from the backup physician, for the unit's patients and provide medical advice to other departments. The Department of Infectious Diseases is based in Jönköping and is the region's knowledge center for infectious diseases. The clinic consists of a care unit with 24 beds, a specialist outpatient clinic, and extensive consultation and advisory services provided in Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. Currently, a pilot program in hospital-at-home care is also underway, where patients are offered the opportunity to receive portions of their antibiotic treatment at home.
