About Us Welcome to Närhälsan Töreboda Health Center – a pleasant and well-functioning workplace with approximately 40 employees and around 7,500 registered patients. The health center offers both acute and planned care with a district physician clinic, district nurse clinic, child health clinic, and laboratory. We have close cooperation with a midwifery clinic, youth clinic, rehabilitation clinic, public dental care, and social services, as well as good collaboration with Töreboda Municipality. The health center is centrally located in Töreboda with good commuting options from, for example, Skövde and Mariestad via train, bus, or car. You work independently and alternately with clinic work. Guidance is provided by an experienced specialist who gives you support and knowledge exchange. We offer you varied work with good development opportunities. About You You are a licensed physician with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare and have an interest in primary care and completing ST training in general medicine. You have Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. We are looking for someone who is attentive and has good interpersonal skills because you will meet many different patients at the health center in your work. You work independently and are confident in making your own decisions, while at the same time contributing with commitment and initiative to the development of the operations. You enjoy teamwork and like to cooperate with colleagues and partners to together create a care environment characterized by quality, trust, and care. The position is a 6-month contract with possible extension and ST training. For those who trained as physicians abroad and have not completed AT in Sweden to obtain physician licensure, you are covered by the new regulations regarding Base Training from July 1, 2021. Base Training for physicians (BT) is a mandatory introductory part of specialist training in the new regulation ST-2021 (HSLF-FS 2021:8).
