Upper Secondary Teacher in Natural Sciences

About the Position
As a natural sciences teacher, you are responsible for planning, implementing, and following up on instruction based on current curriculum guidelines and students' diverse needs and circumstances.
You work both independently and together with colleagues and actively contribute to developing instruction and our shared operations.
The role includes, among other things:
planning and implementing instruction based on subject and course curricula
adapting instruction, materials, and methods to the group's and individual's needs
creating a safe and inclusive learning environment with good study conditions
monitoring and documenting student development and progress
creating and assessing examinations
grading
analyzing results and taking relevant pedagogical measures
collaborating with colleagues and, when the assignment requires it, external partners
contributing to the development of our teaching methods and our digital study and work environment.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are seeking someone who is a certified upper secondary teacher with credentials to teach natural sciences.
You have strong subject knowledge and the ability to make scientific questions understandable, relevant, and engaging. You can adapt instruction to students' diverse needs and circumstances and have an understanding of adult learning.
You are also comfortable using digital tools as a natural part of instruction.
It is meritorious if you have experience with:
adult education
flexible and digital learning
teaching students with diverse linguistic and cultural backgrounds.
