We are a specialized service that provides habilitation services to children, adolescents, and adults and their families and networks. Within habilitation, we work in teams based on multidisciplinary approaches according to age and disability. Our target groups are primarily individuals with intellectual disabilities, autism, and mobility impairments. Habilitation services provide a qualitative complement to other health and medical care services and society's general support.
In Linköping, there are several teams focused on children or adults, where services include assessment, evaluation, treatment, and advice and support.
Job Description
We are seeking a licensed physiotherapist for one of our children's teams in Linköping, focusing on children with intellectual disabilities (ID). You will be part of a multidisciplinary team with both team-based and individual appointments. You will meet children and their families and networks in various settings. You will primarily work with children ages 0-16 with ID and additional diagnoses, and as a physiotherapist, your focus will be on motor assessments based on mobility and activity. You will provide guidance on preventive health work, combating sedentary behavior, and preventing obesity. You will also participate in orthopedic assessments. You will conduct both individual assessments and appointments together with other professionals. In collaboration with other team members, you will also provide information, guidance, and education to people in the child's immediate environment.
About You
A licensed physiotherapist with several years of professional experience is advantageous.
Experience working with children and adolescents with disabilities and team-based work is advantageous.
You have a natural ability to communicate and establish good collaboration with different professionals. You are flexible, see opportunities in changes, and have a positive attitude. Your work style is characterized by high quality while you plan, organize, and prioritize your work efficiently. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
