About Us
In Sörmland, all dietitians are organized in a dietitian organization that is part of the county clinic Paramedicin Sörmland. Currently, there are approximately 45 dietitian colleagues in Sörmland. The primary care unit and specialist care unit work closely together, which provides opportunities to change your assignment over time if you wish.
The primary care dietitians' mission is to care for patients of various ages referred to us by the county's 31 health centers. Reception work takes place at the health center and you work closely with other professionals at the health center, which promotes collaboration around patients. Depending on the size of the health center, as a dietitian you have a full-time assignment at a large health center or a shared assignment at two smaller health centers. In Sörmland, we have a well-developed network of dietitian colleagues who meet regularly, have great camaraderie, and are never further away than a Teams link or a phone call.
We are now looking for a new colleague to join our primary care team with assignments in western Sörmland, i.e., Katrineholm, Flen, Malmköping, and Vingåker.

Your Work Tasks
Our work is based on evidence-based guidelines and ethical codes. We work according to the nutrition treatment process, which involves assessment, investigation, diagnosis, and treatment of nutrition-related problems and documentation according to NCP. The work also includes assessing the need for and prescribing nutritional supplements.
The work is varied and you will meet patients of different ages. Patient contacts can take place individually at the clinic, in the form of remote visits, or as group education. A dietitian can be part of a team with other professionals at the health center, for example, in lifestyle-related diagnoses. Education for health center staff and collaboration with child health services are included in the assignment, as well as cooperation with staff in municipal home care regarding patients with nutritional problems.
Your Competence
We are looking for you as a licensed dietitian, preferably with experience of working in primary care. Good knowledge of the Swedish language is a requirement in both speech and writing.
You should have an interest in working with the whole picture around the patient together with other professions, but where you provide the nutritional expertise. You are organized and self-sufficient and have good collaboration skills.
Digital technology for communication is used frequently, such as video visits, which means you need to have an interest in this and a willingness to learn if you are unfamiliar with it.
Since work-related travel may occur, a Class B driver's license is desirable.
