Överkalix kommun, Medical Team is seeking you who are a trained occupational therapist for a developing and valuable work. Description: Occupational Therapist, full-time, daytime. Permanent employment. Start date by agreement. Responsibilities: As an occupational therapist at Överkalix kommun, you will be part of the medical team consisting of licensed professionals - nurses, occupational therapist, physiotherapist, and nursing assistants. The occupational therapist's area of responsibility includes open healthcare in the home and the municipality's special residences, group and service housing, as well as daily activities within LSS. We are looking for you as an occupational therapist who has interest and commitment to work with rehabilitation and provide healthcare services for people within the municipality's area of responsibility. As an occupational therapist, you work with guiding and supporting individuals, relatives, and staff in rehabilitation matters. You initiate treatment and training that develops, recovers, and maintains functional capacity of the individual. You are responsible for testing and prescribing technical aids, assessments for among other things housing adaptations, and to the social care committee's activities when needed. Qualifications: Licensed occupational therapist. Experience of work within municipal activities is meritorious. You should have good collaboration skills and be flexible. You must be able to work independently and take your own initiatives and decisions. We document in the Pulsen Combine system. Coordinated planning takes place in Lifecare SP. Risk assessments are conducted via the Senior Alert quality register. Requirement to express the Swedish language well in both speech and writing.
