We are now looking for an occupational therapist for our Medical Unit in Åsele Municipality. With us, you will work in an interdisciplinary environment collaborating with municipal home care, rehabilitation, and elderly care. We are looking for a committed and registered occupational therapist to join our team, and we hope you will take your place as part of it. Duties As an occupational therapist with us, you will assess, plan, and implement interventions that promote individuals' ability to manage their daily lives. You collaborate closely with other professionals and take a holistic perspective on individuals' needs. Your duties include: Assessment of functional capacity and need for assistive devices. Trial and prescription of assistive devices. Rehabilitative interventions at home or in residential settings. Supervision of staff and collaboration with family members. Documentation and follow-up according to applicable guidelines. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Is a registered occupational therapist. Has good collaboration skills and a solution-focused approach to work. Enjoys working independently and taking responsibility. Holds a category B driver's license. Experience from municipal activities or home care is advantageous, but we also welcome those new to the profession! Scope This is a full-time position as a temporary contract for 6 months with good prospects for extension. We offer flexible working hours. The position is available from an agreed date.
