We are now seeking a district nurse who wants to be part of our competent and engaged team within municipal primary care. About the Workplace Our unit is growing, and we are now looking for you to become our next valued colleague. Your new colleagues consist of approximately 38 engaged employees who are all passionate about providing safe, secure, and person-centered care to patients enrolled in municipal primary care. We are also supported by and work together with a reliable and experienced group of part-time nurses. Work Duties As a specialist nurse with us, you will have a central role in the municipal health and care mission, and you will support your colleagues based on your role as a specialist nurse. The work involves both independent responsibility and close teamwork. You will meet patients with varying needs and medical conditions, which provides varied work and the opportunity to develop broad competence. Placement can be in sheltered housing or regular housing, where work is conducted through home visits or delegated care tasks to care personnel. Your duties include: - Lead and take responsibility for medical work - Make independent assessments and plan care interventions - Prescribe assistive devices according to your assignment - Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders - Document and handle deviations and contribute to quality improvement - Supervise, delegate to, and train care personnel - Identify and prevent risks in care - Assess patients' needs and work in a person-centered manner With us, you will have meaningful work where your competence makes a difference, alongside colleagues who support each other and develop care together. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed specialist nurse and thrive in a role where you combine independent responsibility with teamwork. Those with basic nursing education and experience in the profession are also welcome to apply. You are confident in your professional role, structured in your work, and have a professional and responsive manner. We also see that you are independent, flexible, and solution-focused with good communication skills. Personal suitability is weighted heavily. A B-category driver's license is required.
