What we're looking for
We're looking for you, a licensed nurse who has held a B driver's license continuously for at least three years. The position requires passed physical fitness tests and a passed driver's exam. Specialist training in anesthesia, intensive care, acute care, or ambulance services is considered meritorious. Experience with prehospital work or other emergency operations, experience with the Mobimed medical record system, and knowledge of Meänkieli, Finnish, and/or Sami are also meritorious. A C1 or C driver's license is also an advantage.

What you'll be working with
In ambulance care, you'll work in a unique public service function consisting of round-the-clock prehospital emergency care, where staff meet patients of all ages suffering from acute illness or injury in the patient's home, in outdoor environments, or at accident or injury scenes. Together with an ambulance care assistant or another nurse, you form the ambulance crew that is often first on scene, where your competence will be used. As an ambulance nurse, you make the first important assessment, provide the most acute care, hold medical responsibility, and decide on care and medical measures based on care needs, and refer to the appropriate level of care. You meet various situations and challenges where your intervention can be crucial for the patient and make a difference for other people. Within the crew, you work in close collaboration with each other and other professional specialists.

Job information
We can offer you a permanent position or a temporary assignment. The positions are full-time and working hours are arranged around the clock. Selection and interviews take place on an ongoing basis and positions may be filled before the application deadline.
