Duties As a nurse in municipal health and medical care, you will lead nursing and healthcare work at the short-term care unit Lunden. You will collaborate with nursing assistants, care staff, physical therapists, occupational therapists, and unit managers. You will also cooperate with primary care, inpatient care, and other stakeholders from a holistic patient perspective. You will have overall patient responsibility for the care of your patients. This includes making your own assessments, specimen collection, wound care, medication management, injections, diabetes care, and other relevant tasks. The work also includes disease prevention and complication prevention, such as fall injuries, malnutrition, and mental health issues. Furthermore, the work may involve responsibility for end-of-life care. You are a driven and solution-focused person who is accustomed to prioritizing your tasks. You have good patient interactions, contribute to a good work environment, and work well collaboratively. As a nurse, you also mentor and train/delegate staff in nursing care and healthcare services. You actively participate in development work to improve our operations.
