As a nurse at Pajala Municipality, you will have varied and independent work. Your work tasks include healthcare services such as medication management, wound care, catheter changes and end-of-life care. The work involves significant personal responsibility with varied tasks and it is therefore important that you feel confident in your professional role. Working hours are Monday to Friday, daytime. An important part of the work is to supervise, support and educate/delegate health and care tasks to care personnel. You will be part of the municipality's Health and Care Unit which, in addition to nurses, consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists and district nurses. QUALIFICATIONS • You are a licensed nurse • You have a person-centered approach • You enjoy working independently and in a team • You have good communication skills • Experience in municipal care or short-term housing is advantageous • Hold a Class B driver's license (required) Before employment, a register extract must be presented in accordance with law 2026:43 Regulation on background checks for work in the home for elderly persons or adults with disabilities. In Pajala Municipality, individual and differentiated salary setting is applied. This means that the salary is set based on applicable collective agreement – general provisions including appendices and the municipality's salary policy. Upon new employment, an individual assessment of the salary is made based on the requirements of the position. The minimum starting salary is 23,638 kr. For employees who have completed vocational preparatory upper secondary education, the starting salary is 25,798 kr. Pajala Municipality is part of the administrative area for Meänkieli and Finnish, therefore it is advantageous if you have knowledge in one or both of these languages.
