Are you a licensed psychologist with experience working with children and adolescents? If so, you may be the person we're looking for. Work at UPH Sundet involves meeting children and adolescents with mental health issues at an early stage. The role includes conducting assessments and implementing interventions, such as counseling and evidence-based psychological treatment for mild symptoms of, for example, depression, anxiety, stress, and sleep disorders, as well as providing support and advice to parents individually and in groups, both in-person and digitally. Another important part of UPH's mission is to collaborate with surrounding services such as specialist care, social services, school health services, and other healthcare centers in the area. The patient group comprises children and adolescents aged 6–18 years. About Us: The unit is located in the same premises as Stora Höga Läkarhus & Rehab. UPH Sundet is part of Läkarhusen i Väst, which since its inception in 2018 now consists of four healthcare centers & rehabilitation units as well as one UPH. What characterizes our way of working is our teamwork within and between professions, our confidence in each profession's expertise, and short decision-making paths in the organization. Team spirit is marked by commitment, good communication, competence, and accessibility. UPH-Sundet is an independent unit but works closely with the healthcare center. Together we make up a great team of approximately 40 employees. We strive for high accessibility and professional care for our citizens. This position is a parental leave replacement with good prospects for extension and permanent employment. Commuting to Stora Höga is convenient with highway, bus, and train connections (approximately 30 minutes from both Gothenburg and Uddevalla). About You: You are a licensed psychologist with experience working with children and adolescents. Focus on CBT primarily. We place great importance on personal suitability.
