About Us/The Workplace Svedala Health Center is a private health center where the owners work actively in the operations. We have a contract with Region Skåne, currently serving approximately 6,000 registered patients with 25 enthusiastic and motivated staff members. We have a broad mandate that includes both acute and scheduled visits, geriatric care, and treatment and follow-up of chronic diseases. Together with Svedala Municipality, we opened a family center in January 2026, which creates new opportunities for collaboration and strengthens our work in preventive care and a holistic perspective for children and families. This includes child health services and midwifery services operated by us. Our team includes specialist physicians in general medicine, district nurses, registered nurses, nursing assistants, a counselor, physiotherapists, a dietitian, and an occupational therapist. We also have nurses with special expertise in diabetes, asthma, and COPD, which enables us to provide structured and high-quality care for patients with chronic diseases. We have close and excellent collaboration between professions and with the municipality. Our goal is to provide patients with secure, accessible, and high-quality care. We work according to the principle that all patients should have a named primary physician contact with high continuity. We are enthusiastic about driving development forward in using new technology and new working methods, including the use of digital platforms. The health center is centrally located in Svedala, within walking distance to the Pågatåg train station and with excellent commuting options from all of southern Skåne. We strive to work in a multidisciplinary manner with an open climate where everyone's voice is heard. The health center has evening hours two days per week and on all weekends and holidays. The health center has a very present management team and short decision-making paths. About the Work/Responsibilities We are growing and are now seeking a licensed physician for a 6-month probationary position. During your employment, you will have a primary supervisor with regular supervision sessions. The position can lead to a specialist training (ST) position in general medicine. As an ST physician with us, you will receive: An individual training plan adapted to the target description. Opportunity for side specializations within relevant specialties in collaboration with hospital clinics. Participation in quality improvement, development projects, and improvement work. Access to internal training, regional ST days, and ST forums. About You/Qualifications We welcome you if you have Swedish physician licensure with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare and are eligible to begin specialist training in general medicine (completed internship or junior doctor training). You have: A genuine interest in general medicine and primary care's breadth and holistic perspective. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, at least C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. We highly value personal qualities such as collaboration skills, responsibility, commitment, and a willingness to contribute to the development of our services. You have a holistic view of both work and the patient and adapt easily to different circumstances. Your work is characterized by being thorough, structured, and having a flexible approach. Previous primary care experience is a merit. We expect you to be engaged and proactive in improvement work and operational development.
