We can offer good working conditions and close collaboration with knowledgeable and pleasant colleagues. At Mälargården, we have a flat organization which gives us great freedom and influence. We can direct our own work. We work in functional facilities and have a well-equipped gym. Most importantly, you will meet motivated patients who come to Mälargården for 2-3 weeks of intensive rehabilitation. We focus on our patients and avoid unnecessary bureaucracy, by minimizing administration to what is necessary to maintain good and safe care. You also won't have prescription responsibility, as it's not part of our mandate.
At Mälargården, we have helped many people with different diagnoses change their life situation for the better. We offer rehabilitation in a beautiful natural setting.
Specialized Planned Rehabilitation:
Mälargården Rehab Center in Sigtuna has successfully offered customized rehabilitation for various diagnostic groups since the early 1970s. Today, we provide planned specialized rehabilitation for patients who have suffered a neurological illness or injury, as well as for patients who have completed cancer treatment.
Over the years, Mälargården has built an excellent reputation. This is confirmed daily by satisfied patients, referring physicians, and clients.
We accept patients for inpatient rehabilitation as well as day rehabilitation patients. Operations run Monday - Friday.
Agreement with Regional Health Authority:
We have agreements with Stockholm County Council, as well as with other regional health authorities and various municipalities.
Non-profit Organization:
The Mälargården Rehab Center Foundation is a politically and religiously independent foundation. Our operations are mission-driven and run on a non-profit basis. Any potential surplus is reinvested in the organization.

Qualifications
You work independently and make your own decisions, but have a good ability to collaborate. If you have experience working in neurological rehabilitation, that is a major plus.
Since Mälargården is at the forefront regarding medical technology equipment and training equipment, we welcome applicants who are interested in technology and innovative training equipment.
You are unpretentious, engaged, attentive, communicative, and have good interpersonal skills. Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing, as well as good computer skills. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.
Mälargården has conducted planned specialized rehabilitation on behalf of Stockholm County Council for many years.
Teamwork between different professions is an important success factor for us. Our patients' diagnoses require a holistic view of the patient and their medical condition.
