Our veterinary team consists of 11 veterinarians, which allows us to maintain double coverage, meaning two veterinarians always work together during on-call shifts. We have several licensed veterinary technicians, animal care assistants, receptionists, and licensed veterinary nurses who are a major strength in our investigations. The clinic features a fresh, modern design and is one of the largest within District Veterinarians, located centrally in the city. It is equipped with 8 dedicated treatment rooms. We also have ultrasound, direct digital radiography, laboratory, surgery with preparation and gas anesthesia, sterile facilities, day stalls, dental surgery unit with dental chair and dental X-ray, and our small animal clinic is well-equipped with day care capabilities. In January 2023, we also opened our brand new equine clinic at the same location. Örnsköldsvik offers a wide range of nature and outdoor activities. The municipality is part of the High Coast with a fantastic archipelago and a natural world heritage site. Most notably, Skuleskogen National Park takes you through classic enchanted forest with massive spruce trees, down into deep valleys, past bare rock plateaus, and up to breathtaking mountain peaks. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES With us, you have the opportunity to be an important part of our team with your expertise, with a focus on anesthesia and polyclinic work. As a veterinary technician with us, you will work in a varied daily routine with colleagues who help each other where needed. You will work both in the polyclinic at the clinic (with your own patients and together with the team) and in anesthesia. You work with care hygiene on a comprehensive level and also fulfill our daily hygiene work by managing laundry, instrument care, and some facility maintenance.
