We are now recruiting a licensed veterinary nurse, or alternatively an animal care assistant level 3, for a permanent full-time position (100%). The position is primarily based at the animal hospital in Falun, but work shifts may also occur at our branches in Borlänge and Ludvika. Start date is from September or by agreement. You work closely with veterinarians and other colleagues and participate in the entire patient care process – from preparation and examination to treatment, monitoring, and discharge. We have a strong focus on emergency care, which means that a significant part of daily work involves caring for emergency and critical patients. Your responsibilities may include: Patient care, sample collection, and medication management. Preparation and monitoring before, during, and after anesthesia. Assisting with examinations, treatments, and surgeries. Postoperative care, pain management, and inpatient care. Documentation and communication with pet owners. Preparing treatment and operating rooms and contributing to efficient patient flow. The work is varied and you will have the opportunity to develop within areas such as emergency care or other fields based on your experience and interests. You are a licensed veterinary nurse or animal care assistant level 3, preferably with experience. You are flexible and adapt easily to different workplaces and environments. You enjoy working both independently and as part of a team. You have a professional and empathetic approach toward pet owners and colleagues. Knowledge of anesthesia is particularly valuable. The position involves scheduled work on days, evenings, and weekends, including holidays.
